Is Your Billing E-Invoice Ready for KSA Customers?
In Saudi Arabia, invoices are no longer just paper or PDF.
Every invoice must now be sent to ZATCA, the government tax authority. This happens through their system called Fatoora.

What Changed?
Saudi Arabia added businesses in groups, called waves. The last group, Wave 24, ended on 30 June 2026.
That means the rules now apply to almost every VAT-registered business in the Kingdom. There is no more waiting for your turn.
What Does "E-Invoice Ready" Mean?
In simple words, your software must:
Create invoices in a special digital format (not a normal PDF) Add a QR code to customer bills Send business invoices (B2B) to ZATCA before you give them to the buyer Send customer invoices (B2C) to ZATCA within 24 hours Keep a safe copy of every invoice
